Local Storage: Mileage Tracker is primarily an offline-first application. All data regarding your fill-ups, odometer readings, and costs are stored locally on your device using an internal database.

Information you provide:

  • Vehicle odometer readings.
  • Fuel costs and volume.
  • Dates of fill-ups.
  • Fuel station names.
  • Optional notes.

3. App Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

  • Storage (Read/Write): Required to Export your data as CSV/PDF files and to Import CSV backups.
  • Internet: Required strictly for minimal analytics (crash reporting) or loading map data if applicable. We do not upload your personal mileage logs to any cloud server.

4. Data Security

Since your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data relies largely on the security of your phone (e.g., screen lock, encryption). When you export data (CSV/PDF), you are responsible for the storage and transmission of those files.
