1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Mileage Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Mileage Tracker is an offline-first Android application that allows users to log and track vehicle fuel fill-ups, odometer readings, costs, trips, and maintenance records. Core tracking features are available free of charge and stored locally on your device. An optional Premium subscription unlocks additional features as described within the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Mileage Tracker, consistent with the App's age rating. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Premium Subscription & Billing

Mileage Tracker offers an optional Premium subscription with recurring billing (weekly, monthly, or yearly, as selected at time of purchase). By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • All payments are processed by Google Play, and your subscription is subject to Google Play's own terms of service and billing policies.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play (Play Store app > Profile > Payments & subscriptions) or through the in-app subscription management screen. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period.
  • Upon cancellation or expiration, Premium features will be disabled at the end of the current paid period, and the App will revert to its free feature set. Your locally stored data (fuel logs, vehicles, trips, maintenance records) is never deleted or altered as a result of a subscription change.
  • Refunds are handled solely by Google in accordance with Google Play's refund policy. The developer does not process refunds directly and cannot override Google's refund decisions.
  • Prices displayed are inclusive of any applicable taxes as determined by Google Play based on your billing region and may change over time; you will be notified of price changes in advance as required by applicable law before they apply to your subscription.

5. Free vs. Premium Features

The developer reserves the right to determine which features are available free of charge and which require a Premium subscription, and to modify this feature split in future App updates. Features already unlocked under an active Premium subscription will not be revoked during that subscription's active billing period.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of data you manually enter into the App (odometer readings, fuel costs, volumes, etc.).
  • Maintaining the security of your device, since all tracking data is stored locally.
  • Any files you export (CSV/PDF) and how you store or share them.
  • Using the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial vehicle tracking purposes unless otherwise agreed.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Mileage Tracker is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The developer does not guarantee that:

  • Fuel efficiency, cost, or trend calculations will be free of errors or perfectly accurate, since they depend entirely on data you provide.
  • The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of bugs at all times.
  • Any advertisements displayed within the App are accurate or endorsed by the developer.

Mileage Tracker is a personal tracking tool and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial, tax, business, or vehicle maintenance decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or costs arising from reliance on data or calculations provided by the App. Since data is stored locally on your device, you are strongly encouraged to periodically export backups (CSV/PDF) using the App's built-in tools.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services, including Google AdMob (advertising), Google Play Billing (payments), and RevenueCat (subscription management), each governed by their own respective terms and privacy policies. The developer is not responsible for the practices or availability of these third-party services. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data shared with these services.

10. Intellectual Property

Mileage Tracker, including its name, logo, design, and underlying code, is the property of the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or create derivative works from the App without prior written permission.

11. Termination

The developer reserves the right to suspend or discontinue the App, or any part of it, at any time. You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. Since data is stored locally, uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data unless you have exported a backup beforehand.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date on this page.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
